The Department was established in the year 1999-2000.There has been consistent development in all spheres including infrastructure, staff and student strength. The significant infra structural design well-equipped laboratories and hi-tech computers with high speed internet facility with all qualified staff members ensures world class standard of education delivered from our department to rural based students. The benchmark feature has helped our department to acquire NBA accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, and New Delhi since May 2009 onwards.
