| Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1999 with a goal of creating ethically responsible and self-reliant technocrats. The department is headed by Dr. K. Ruba Soundar. Department has a team of 25 qualified and experienced faculty members supported by 7 supporting staff members. |

- Our students secured more University Ranks.
- Four Computer Laboratories with latest cutting edge technologies with 4 IBM servers and 10Mbps internet connection facility to equip budding computer engineers to face tomorrow's technology. And also Wi-Fi connection is available in this campus.
- MOU's with companies like IBM, CISCO,BSNL, etc., for technical training.
- Campus agreement with Microsoft to utilize the licensed software.
- Diverse sponsored projects from various funding agencies like DRDO and TNSCST.
- Department library contains around 4000 volumes with 30 international journals such as IEEE networking, image processing, etc.
- The association namely CAFE is vibrant in conducting various programmes to improve student's inherent talents.
